This breakfast dish is perfect for the Holidays because it can be made the night before and thrown into the oven while everyone is enjoying their morning.  It’s super delicious, and best of all…I found all my ingredients at Aldi’s.

  • 1 Loaf of Sliced Brioche Bread (I used chocolate chip Brioche bread from Aldi’s)
  • 1 pint of heavy whipping cream
  • 6 eggs
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • non stick spray
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and lightly spray the bottom of a 9×11 glass baking dish.

Mix cream, milk, eggs and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl.  Making sure to combine well.  Check to see if the eggs were well mixed, otherwise you will wind up with scrambled egg areas of your breakfast bake.

Place a layer of Brioche bread on the bottom of the pan can cover with the milk and egg mixture.  Place another layer of bread and pour the rest of the milk and egg mixture.

Carefully place in the oven, and bake fore 1-2 hours, or until golden brown and set in the middle.

Messy Momming Tip:

If you want to combine the ingredients together the night before, you will first need to lightly toast your Brioche bread before placing it in the pan. You can either use your toaster or lay out the slices of bread in 350 degree 10-15 minutes.  This will dry out the bread, and keep it from getting too soggy.
