After bringing my Kindergartener to craft school for the last 3 years; she’s become accustomed to having a craft of some sort to do during the week.  I still like to do my lesson at home with her, to make a sample project for modeling during craft class.  The Sun-Catcher Project was a super fun, and very easy project.

Sticking colorful tissue paper and feathers to contact paper allows kids to be creative without the mess of paint.

It creates a cheerful sun catcher that will brighten any room!!

To make, we used:

  • 2 circles cut out of contact paper
  • tissue paper
  • feathers
  • various sequins
Contact Paper, Tissue Paper & Feathers come together to create a cheerful sun catcher!

We had so much fun that we made 3 different sun catchers!
